Trained at Manchester Metropolitan University and Royal Northern College of Music as a teacher of Music with Specialist Instrumental Teaching, Lucy is an experienced classroom and private music teacher. She has worked with and conducted ensembles, workshops and works both in schools and gives private tuition in person, and online.
Lucy is experienced in training students for a range of board exams including ABRSM and Trinity, in both practical music making and music theory.
She is a woodwind teacher, and can teach the following from a beginner level:
Saxophone up to an advanced
Flute to intermediate
Clarinet to intermediate
Music Theory
School Music (GCSE, etc)
Workshops and other music related events

Lucy is a classically trained Saxophonist with numerous performances and events under her belt.
Amongst other things, she has been involved with bands and performers, including a number of function bands, other Big Bands and concert bands, such as DGK Big band and South Liverpool Orchestra, recording work, including with Liverpool- based band ‘Black Wax’, and solo work.
All of these were of varying genre and membership, presenting a plethora of performance and musical experiences, allowing Lucy to perform in a number of fantastic places, including a Manchester Art Students Gallery Opening, in the middle of a forest for a wedding in Formby and for a dragon in parade in the middle of Parbold.
Lucy is experienced in a wide range of music and performance venues, and has the abilty to record from home when needed.
